Special Olympics
We are excited to announce the first annual Limestone County Special Olympics Run that is taking place Thursday, April 19. The participants are running from each Limestone County School to encourage the Special Olympic participants. They will be running a total of 72.5 miles. Here at Ardmore, we are asking for supporters to come out and cheer them on as they arrive at the school around 6:00 p.m. They will come up Mooresville Rd. toward Ardmore. We hope to have groups of supporters cheering them on as they get closer to our school. They will be here for a brief stop and then heading on to Elkmont. We encourage everyone to come out for this great event!

Bryant/Jordan Banquet
Daniel McNeese was honored at the annual Bryant/Jordan Banquet held in Birmingham. Alabama has over 150, 000 student athletes and 96 were Bryant/Jordan finalist so this was a huge honor for Daniel and his family. You can find more information about the Bryant/Jordan Award Program at www.ahsaa.com or read previous articles from the blog.
Speakers included Steve Savarese, Executive Director of the AHSAA, Dr. Tommy Bice, State Superintendent of Education, and Representatives from The University of Alabama, and Auburn University. Ardmore is fortunate to have had a representative at the banquet for the last three years. This is a testament to our fine quality students, parent, teachers, and coaches.
